I know I said I would post these a while back but Youtube and Facebook and the like all suck at uploading. This clip is me doing my usual thing in the middle of winter.

1. I know the roads are still covered in snow. 85% cleared means it's still ride-able. Same goes for the 33° F weather.
2. I know my clocks are flapping loose due to the potholes taking a toll on the 26 yr old bike's mounting screws. It's being repaired with JB weld and zip ties as we speak... or chopping the front end and fitting a ZRX cowl instead.
3. Velcro on the tank is for an E-ZPass/ Toll Pass not meant to hold the bike together...
4. The back plate was the waterproof one and the sound is a bit muffled.
5. Won't embed it so that people won't stutter opening this post.

Here's a video done at night. I decided to cut down a lot of it because there wasn't much going on besides heavy traffic. I think I will redo this video seeing as how it seemed to sync well with Windows Movie Maker and then get screwed up in finishing process. I normally would use iMovie but my MacBook decided to up and die...

The first video is a little nerve wracking (like you said) with the snow on the roads... and then the highway "salt/water/dirt" splash.. ooo.

The second video is really cool, I like the mounting, the night shooting and the music. I'll have to try this myself.

Yep, really nice job. I'll have to pick your brain on how to edit this stuff as I picked up a Go-Pro this winter and haven't had the time to figure everything out yet. It looks as though you have a very good handle on it.

Thanks, but the editing could've been better. The last vid showed how hard my suspension has to work on our darn roads, even on the highway. Thankfully Kawasaki Uni-Trak and Anti-dive forks work great.

I'm surprised to see the clips embedded. Hopefully no one will have a problem loading this page. The GoPro has been great but one was lost during a Rally mishap and the HD came out soon after.

The Contour HD is a more streamlined and aesthetically pleasing camera but only comes with water resistant housing and uses MicroSD cards instead. waterproof housing is an accessory but it makes connecting the camera to the bike for power easier compared to GoPro (it will have an optional housing to allow for that soon).

Avoid mounting the camera on a windshield unless you are really sure it's extremely stable because the GoPro is a bit heavy.
