At long last the old man has got round to taxing the Rocket!

After 5 long months we can go out together.
I have even restricted him to just one dram so there's no excuse!

Unless of course it's p'.....ing down!

Good day! The weather where we are (west London) is stellar today, so hopefully it's a good day for you as well and you can get out for a ride!

Did you guys have the road tax off it for the winter?

Just to check - is it a Triumph Rocket you have?

Its still snowing with daytime highs still below freezing here in Pencilvania, I can't get out and ride when the roads are still snowcovered, I have severe bike fever and wasting away sitting and doing nothing indoors (thats why I am spending a lot of time in these motorcycle talk forums getting everybody mad at me cause I say the things that everybody agrees with but are afraid to say!)

If I don't say anything that insults somebody, I am holding back

Taxing? UK-speak for registering, as in "register the vehicle with the motor vehicle agency" ?? We pay a registration fee here, of course, to do so.

Tax = Road Fund Licence (vehicle excise duty).

Bikes are Triumph Rocket III '06. ~ his
Triumph Speed Triple 1050 se '09. ~ mine!

+ 1970 Norton Commando Roadster
+ 1984 Yamaha TT600. ~ both his & currently off the road, (S0RN)

Rocket is put to bed over winter (SORN) & we keep Speed Trip on the road but after last winter I might well SORN it when tax runs out in Dec.

Hope that answers all the questions!

We did get out today & had a great blast + met up with loads of folk we hadn't seen since last year! Weather was great ~ sunny with a fresh wind ~ enough to remind me to hold on!

Hope you survive the snow & get out soon Marvin.
