Yeah....a neat bedroll with a big, black fuel line coming out of the bottom.

If I needed the extra fuel on my bike, I'd get a properly fitted auxiliary fuel cell.

its a good idea, try to make a fuel tank blend in making it look like a bed roll. but it just looks so out of place and obviously fake.

My bike already holds over six gallons, put a couple of those on and it would almost hold more fuel than the wifes car.

Not that I'd use on mine. For info's sake what other types of aux fuel cells are out there?

There are various manufacturers that make fuel cells for cars and bikes, some of which are plastic and some are aluminum. Here is a quote from the IBR rules listing some manufacturers:
IBA wrote:3. Inquiries regarding auxiliary fuel may be directed to the following firms who have provided systems that met inspection standards for the rally in the past:
Champion Industries: 903-566-6001
JAZ Products: 805-525-8800
Summit Racing Equipment: 800-230-3030
Tulsa Enterprises: 731-967-3574 or 888-824-6566
Harwood Industries: 903-566-6001
Other manufacturer's cells may also be acceptable. Please contact us
Samson Touring Products also makes custom fuel cells to meet your specifications.

Considering it's a plug and play option, it doesn't look all that bad.
And the 'sale' price is reasonable (not the retail price).
Definitely worth considering for some IB runs and smaller rallies if you don't have a bike that gets significant range with the stock tank.
I can only go about 210 miles, an extra 2 gallons would get me to 260-270+ which would be HUGE.

What happens if/when (God forbid) you crash? Would something like that filled with a couple gallons of fuel be able to handle sliding for a few hundred feet?
