I honestly have no idea...hopefully Wrider or some of the other wrenchers will come over and be able to help. Are you sure it's oil? It looks almost like those are the throttle bodies there and I'm not sure why there'd even be oil near them. Is it still under warranty?

Also, that's a prime example of the type of bikes I wish were sold here in the US. That looks like it'd be a great standard sport-tourer.

Thank u 4 reply jaskc78.
I am not sure if its pure oil, but it was like oil, i mean it left an oily stain on cover under source. I thought it might be washed (by sucked rain water) impregnation substance from air filter? Its just a thought i dont understand to it well. Thats why i seek help.
Yes, its under warranty and my honda seller allready checked it, but they dont know either.
Also i have 10l/100km petrol comsumption. Might it be related? Or its manner of driven km's?.

Hmmm it could very easily just be the excess filter oil as you said.
Out of curiosity, how does it feel? What's the texture? Is it oily? Sticky?
How does it smell? Should smell like either oil or fuel.

That's not air filter oil. Do you even have a K&N air filter? Air filter oil is thinner and pinkish in color.

Most likely it is blowby from the crankcase. That could be caused by overfilling the crankcase with oil or something defective in the crankcase breather system which would puke some excess oil into the airbox.

I didnt smell or touch the stain, but air filter (original honda) smells by petrol. I didnt have a chance to see or smell new one, so i dont know how should it smell.

Engine oil level check shows oil level in middle. (bike straight, heated and engine stopped) First service after 1000Km was done by honda in july last year. Changed oil filter, oil, lubed chain.

Last week Honda saiz, that they checked bike on diagnostics and found no error, also crankcase breather tube was empty. So they cleaned the air filter space (system) and if its leak again I should come over

So i dont know, i just dont wanna brake new bike :frusty:
And thank you for replies.

K&N is. There are other aftermarket manufacturers who have differing colors of oil. Most quads for example you just use regular motor oil to get the foam damp.

If it smells like fuel then chances are one of the injectors is screwing up. Take it back to Honda and don't leave until they've fixed it.

Yeah most offroad vehicles including my KLX250S have the foam filter that uses motor oil too. K&N types are proabably too unrestrictive for riding in a duststorm. That being said, I'm guessing the OP still has the stock air filter in there.

Yeah he said so in the previous post...
Since it smells like fuel I'm guessing it's either a leaking fuel hose or the better bet is that on the evap control system there's a malfunction letting fuel into the airbox.
