Vstrom is good. Also if you are looking for a good bike for a tall dude and cheap to insure, the BMW R-GS series is a good bike.

V-strom is brilliant for taller riders! Just ask TMW Mike at 6'4"!

Yup, I'll back up the V-Strom suggestion. The 650 or the 1000 is the same bike and the same height, I went for the 650 because it was much better on gas, cheaper to buy and less to insure. The hp different between the two wasn't enough to go for the 1000.

At 6'7" you'll be too big for many bikes, like me. There are some out there for us, but they are few. Some cruisers will work, almost all dual sports, some bench seat type bikes (ie 80's and bonneville T100 type), but forget about supersport bikes in general.

Hmmm, Bandit 1200/1250 or Ninja 1000? More comfortable than out and out sportbikes, cheaper, lighter and more sporty than the ST or FJR.
