Hello from a newbie in Valdosta GA

Hello from a newbie in Valdosta GA. I purchased a 2008 Softail Deluxe with 800 miles on it from Gainesville HD back in November. At first I was terrified of going out riding, I didn’t have any experience riding motorcycles so I took the Rider’s Edge course and have been practicing alot in parking lots. I have found a few highways that I can ride on where there is little pressure from other drivers, and although I still feel the fear, I am really beginning to enjoy my bike. I also enjoy reading about other riders experiences on the forum. Take care everybody.

Welcome!! Glad you joined us. Sounds lke you started off perfectly right, that Rider's Edge course really pay off and parking lot practicing may be "boring" but it's worth it.
Looking forward to reading about your riding experiences and your bike on here.
