new member returning to 2 wheel after long absence. I,am 71 5'9'" 27 inseam 190lbs. just got Suzuki DR 200 se for 70% paved roads & 30% dirt roads logging, camp etc. got no manuals & cannot seem to find anything on line about Fluids reguired oil, break, tranny etc, type, weight, capacity , anyone know where I can go to find such info, or can supple it.
also comments on my bike selection for intended use would be appreciated. Thanks Stu

It'll be fine on the dirt roads, that's what it's made for. On paved roads it should be OK up to about 60 mph, then it will get a bit weak. So it can do secondary roads and such, just probably stay off freeways.

What kind of tires came on it?

Good to see a returning rider! Sounds like you are still young at heart and with the 70% paved roads & 30% dirt roads logging mix, that is awesome!

For oil, 10w-40 or 15w-40/50 would be fine for it I'm sure even 20w-40 depending on how warm/cold place you live. I like to do oil changes at 2000km/1500 miles myself. But if you are doing more off-road stuff then a little sooner and clean the air filter regularly (6 months). Just a general guideline but may not apply to your model or riding conditions.

Hello and welcome to the forum. That is a nice choice,for a small bike (that's a joke). Remember automotive oils now have "friction enhancers" that can cause motorcycle clutches to slip so I run Shell Rotella® 15W40 in my bikes. I know it's a diesel engine oil but it does not contain any "friction enhancers" and can be had in both standard and synthetic blends. Anyway it's good to see you here and I'd love to see some pictures of your Pride & Joy.
