Can anyone suggest where I might find aftermarket parts for my recently purchased Nighthawk - I'm looking for things like Highway bars, luggage racks, back rests, etc.
Thanks

I just ordered a back rest off Ebay Chromeplace was the name of the seller. I will order, in time, a set of highway bars from Hondaclassic31 they have them in stainless and chrome. They have been recommended to me. I Recently aquired a 1991 Nighthawk 750 and I like it so much I sold my VLX deluxe that Ive had since it came out of its crate......... This seems to be a GREAT all around ride and so far suits my needs better than the cruiser did by far. I am still getting her all set up as MY BABY so I have a few things like the bars to go. So far I am very happy with the seat but I have only been on it non-stop for about 2.5 hrs. I may go with a saddleman after I get a few longer rides. Now that my tires are replaced I can get the time on it to tell for sure. My back rest should be in tues I am waiting to see the quality of it. I have bought other items from this same seller and they were very good quality but not PERFECT. I am, over all, very pleased with the other items I have bought from them.

As many will tell you, Ebay is your friend!
You can also check the TMW shopping guide (go to the main site, shopping guide).

BEWARE the NIGHT HAWK BACK REST FROM EBAY. The people they have manufacture their parts didnt copy the honda part in detail making it very difficult to install. I got mine on there but it took a lot of work. I had to make a jig to use a bottle jack to reshape some bends in it to make it fit right. All the individual parts of the back rest match honda. The just dint have them in the right places for the welds and it threw everything off.

On another note, I spent about 9 hrs on my Nighthawk yesterday. I rode all over up one side of the Susquehanna river and back down the other. I got 55 Miles per gallon riding two up. I was thrilled with it in every way great power delivery at all rpm. EXCELLENT handling. MY bikes previous daddy put progressive shocks and springs on the rear. He also replaced the springs and fork seals and bushings in the front. With my new Michelin pilot 3 tires I couldnt imagine anything being better on it. No signs of any leaks or even wetness at any seals or gaskets. hasnt used enough oil in 1000 miles to see difference on dipstick. In Amish country in VERY steep hills she would run any speed without lugging. I was very impressed with the gearing of the transmission. The seat works well but could be a tiny bit more firm. I might go with the Saddleman but I'm going to give it a little longer.
