Burgman Owners HATE the Tmax

I was rejected as a new member of a local scooter club just because i own a Tmax and most of the members own the Suzuki Burgman. I explained to them I have a great respect for the Burgman and I will ride my Tmax at slower speeds just so they can keep up. Their problem is as only member of this club they are afraid that my Tmax would get all the attention and take away the attention of their Burgman's. I explained to them I understand that concern since the Tmax looks better on the rear tail section compaired how bulky and ugly the Burgman looks at the rear, and I understand I am skinny and good looking compaired to the older fat riders on the Burgmans, but I will do my best to ride at the rear of their club rides not to attract attention. I just wanted someone to ride with that respects my scooter, but I was never prepared to be rejected cause my scooter was better than their scooter. I feel uncomfortable riding with crotch rockets, HD's and I understand these guys are not comfortable being seen riding with a scooter in their group so i was looking for other scooter riders to ride with. Since I am the only person in my state that owns a Tmax i have to get used to riding it alone.

I suspect that you may have been rejected for other reasons that you have not figured out yet. I've lost track of how many threads that you have started that were either based on your insecurities about your bike, or your need to tell everyone how great your ride is (the latter is driven by the former I suspect). Show up for a ride with most every group that I have ever ridden with, treat people well and you will receive the same. If your insecurities are leading you to annoy the other riders they will treat you much differently.

I am leaving for a day ride today with riders on everything from a Ninja 250 to a Road King and even a Can-Am Spyder. If someone were to show up on a Burgman or Tmax they would be welcome too. There will be no issues other than some friendly kidding which if you can`t take it, you really shouldn`t group ride. So if you are having these continuous issues with riders that you meet in all of these different situations you might want to ask yourself if it is you.

Not trying to be a jerk here but there are not many people out there reading all of your posts that would think much differently.

I am just sick of being judged on what type of bike or scooter you ride. I am in the top 10 best looking man around but that gets me no where! Is there a law that a good looking man with a perfect body MUST ride a top of the line sportbike? Is it my fault that the wifes and girlfriends of other riders look at me and undress me with their eyes? I am a threat to them cause of my good looks and what I ride. Thats why no club wants me, its their low self esteem of themselves, they use the Tmax as an excuse, I don't fit hanging around older bald fat guys

:clapping: We can't ever ban this guy. His material is too good. Maybe we can limit him to the egotism forum or something.

:needpics: of you on the T-max. It has to have something to prove it's you though. Surely you can back up the ego. We'll throw the pictures over to the ladies forum to see how you shape up.

Well, no. It's also acceptable for him to ride a nicely dressed Road King. That way he's going slow enough that as we pass him by on our little Triumphs and Hondas and Suzukis we can admire his beauty.

But a scooter? Tsk.

Though, I would totally want to touch your TMax...

I get the same rude treatment from people face to face as I do in a forum, people hate me cause I am good looking, I am rejected from joining scooter clubs and local poker runs , my good looks makes them look bad, they are jealous, whatever! if you people want to judge me just because im beautiful then there's nothing I can do about it, I give up trying too hard to please people to pretend to be someone I am not just to please them. Not only I can't make any friends talking about my passion for scooters in a stupid forum I can't make friends with local scooter riders. I understand when I am included on a group ride everybody is afraid I will get all the attention and they won't get any attention, how about if I wear a dark tinted full face helment to hide my good looking face? Will that help?

We're just asking you to prove you're not as ugly as your personality is coming across!

Wrider has a good point. We can't judge you by your looks until we see them. In the meantime we judge you by how much of an "O Ring" you are.
