My fella & I really love old bikes. Whenever we are out & about we always keep an eye out for an old beauty.

He can tell me lots of technical stuff, whilst I simply admire the smooth lines & old colours.

And let's not forget the sound......

So thought I would start a picture thread so we can share the treasures that we spot. :D

To start us off here is a pic of a Norton Dominator. Taken at Sammy Miller's Motorycle Museum in the New Forest, Hampshire UK on 26/6/11.

Beat that little beauty!

Hoping to see some good vintage & classic bikes at Calne at the weekend. Will post some more pics then.

Have any of you guys seen old bikes recently?

I've seen a surge in small cc Japanese bikes from the 80's round here. No pics to show for it though.

I've got some pics. Here's a lovely Triumph oldie for you mog, that was parked next to my bike at a festival in town last weekend.

I regularly go on rides with a bunch of neighbors, and we ride a pretty eclectic mix of machinery; that's my bike on the extreme left, then a vintage Vespa, a modern Vespa, and a late 60's BMW airhead:

And we rode to this place.

This is not a museum. It's just a guy's house :jawdrop:

He's got a really eclectic collection of stuff, and that room is just for Beemer airheads. He's got another room for a vintage scooter collection, and another room that's all Monkey bikes. Kinda weird.
