82 Honda CM450 carb overflow
Hello,
I have an 82 Honda CM450 and it is leaking about 1 drop of gas every second out of the left float bowl overflow. I have taken the bowl off and everything looks good. The floats are clean move fine and are in good shape.
Anyone have any ideas on what the issue can be?
Thanks,
Sean

Hello and welcome to the forum. The left carb's float is set wrong. Or the float needle seat is dirty. It's not shutting down the fuel soon enough. So it's leaking.

I don't think it's off by much. Good luck.

So I swapped the floats and float valve from the right to the left, the right side is still fine and the left still leaks. I will try shooting some compressed air up there and hopefully that will do the trick.

It is a C i think. I am going to try and shoot some air up into the float needle seat then clean it out. I'm hoping it may do something.

Do you have a manual for your bike?
