Im having problems with my 1981 yamaha maxim 650. when i start the bike it runs great and as it warms up it start idling higher and higher. Ive tried letting it warm and spraying wd-40 around intakes and elswhere but seems to be no air leak. plugs are burning white any ideals?

If your plugs are white that means your running lean. Plug chart

This bike starts up and idles perfectly when it is cold without the choke despite your assertion that the bike is running lean? :what?!:

It won't idle back down...intake leak.
