I was out on I-635 just cruising home after a ride when I was passed by some guy on a Nighthawk with no shirt, jean shorts, boots, and a full face helmet. He gained on the pack of cars ahead and pulled in one car length behind the guy in the left lane. I watched as the car in the right lane's left blinker came on and he proceeded to cut the Nighthawk off. The squidly one braked hard, horn bleating, cut to the right, passed the guy on the white line and returned to the left lane. Glancing back, left hand extended, finger defiant. The guy in the car's beating on his steering wheel, rocking back and forth, screaming God only knows what, tries to pass on the left median, hits a patch of sand, goes airborne, squid brakes and the guy touches down and pulls into "his lane". The squid falls back to where I'm taking it all in, look at me like "what you going to do" so I just kept going.

That's just normal New Jersey morning commuting. It's not the heat, they do that all the time.

Sounds like a typical commute down Highway 99 from Vancouver, thru Richmond and into Delta. The ones I love are the jokers who jump into the HOV lane in front of me and proceed to slow down, usually with a cell phone jammed in their ears. As for the heat, what is this heat you speak of? We don't have it here.

apparently you need to get out of town more often... although with that said,, overcast with a shower earlier this morning in Osoyoos... (

I wimped out with Air Conditioning on the hotter days...
Saturday was a 50+ mile ride to a Woodworking club picnic.
Wet down my shirt and head a couple of times on the ride
back to cope with the heat.
