$2500. 2000 honda shadow 750. 9000 miles. never laid down. never had mechanical problems.

tell me what you think. also is there anything i should look for or ask the owner?

I guess it depends on what they are going for in your area, but it sounds like a decent deal to me...mileage is still low, the bike has a reputation for reliability (it is a Honda!!)...I'd check the tires for dry rott...you don't know how old they are...and the rubber lines for cracking...ask how old the battery is...

That is a good deal... although you have to remember it's 12 years old and is low milage, which you should account for in extra running costs (as bikes like to be used, not sat).

What you need to find out is:

- When was the last time anything was done on the bike (oil change, tires, tune up, etc).

Any tires over 5 years old need to be replaced.
