I decided to meet up with a guy from another forum. I was camping near Buffalo Lake, AB for the weekend...so we met in Bashaw, AB to go for a ride to Drumheller...

We rode to Drumheller, fuelled up, then toured around a bit and stopped in Wayne, AB for lunch at the Last Chance Saloon...then we rode back through Drumheller to Stettler, AB where I turned off and headed back to Sylvan Lake, AB and tpadams went back to Edmonton, AB...it was a nice ride, if a little dry (not much greenery)

I hope you enjoy the video...I'm still playing with my video software...so it isn't quite as good as I would like...

Anytime...that was a pretty cool place to ride around...we were hoping the road out the south side of Wayne was paved...oh well...

I want to do a ride through K Country before the season is over...so maybe for that one...

Possibly next Sunday...provided I get the new rubber mounted and balanced

I've got a work issue that will keep away from riding that next Sunday but have fun.

It's moments like this I really miss Alberta... Next summer we'll join both of you on a tour to wherever you want to go, but Wayne is pretty cool! It's the 11 bridges I love.

Yup, they're pretty cool...I liked that you could smell the old wood deck as you rode over them...I wouldn't have thought that...might be a little spooky to ride if it was damp/wet...but the day was nearly perfect...24C sunny with cloudy periods...just what I ordered!!

Things have to go your way sometimes, right? And my real name is "Wayne", so it was a bit of a dorky pleasure for me to go to Wayne, AB...I didn't realize how close it was to Drumheller...
