Hi Marc...

Welcome to the forum AND especially to riding.

I've got two boys - both older than you - I know how they wanted to do everything FAST at your age (driving cars, riding motorcycles, you name it). I know you're not on a big bike, but still, as a new rider, please take it slow and easy...get used to your ride, treat it with respect, and you'll have years of enjoyment with this activity. Have a great time with your new bike!

Mike

Looks like a perfect beginner bike/commuting bike. Probably gets great gas mileage, too.

:welcome2: Marc to the Total Motorcycle Community AND to motorcycling!!!

That is a nice classic standard bike you have to start off with, you will have an absolute BLAST riding. Just remember, always wear your gear and ride safe, you have a whole life of fun ahead of you. :D

Yea that's why I bought it and it does have great gas mileage. It has a 9L tank including 1.5L reserve. With 1 liter I can get 40km (25 miles) so if I fill her up I can go 360km (224 miles).
