Hi Guys, just introducing myself. ride a K1200S, live in Alberton Gauteng South Africa. We have some of the best roads in the world and some awsome rallies supprting all of the major bike makers. We are getting a lot of bike tourists to the country now, if you need the low down skinny, let me know.

Hello sapaul...welcome to the forum

I used to live in South Africa about 25 years ago (Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town) and I definately can attest to the awesome touring roads down there.... Maybe one of these days I can make a return trip and rent a bike and go for a tour.....

Cheers

Hi,
my brother has just moved to Jo'burg.

I was there at Easter and saw a few bikes around but he is bit worried about being bike jacked or mugged. What's the reality?

His commute is dodo in the mornings and bike would sort him out nicely.
