If you have had a crash, what month did you crash in

I am starting this poll to see if there is a connection between frequency of motorcycle/scooter crashes and a particular time of year (month).
Please vote for any of the months you've had crashes in (you can vote for multiple months).
It's an unfortunate thing to have a crash, but since you are reading this and had a crash, it's good news you came out of it ok. If you would like to share some details and lessons learned from your accident then please do, it will only help peolpe in the future...
Thank you for taking the poll.

On a sunday in late September 2001. The day I became superman and got to fly 75 feet (and my bike went 50' in the opposite direction).
I learned a lot from that. (Like Superman should have worn a helmet!). Funny enough I've never taken that secondary highway again (Hwy 40/1A near Nakoda Lodge).

I learned in September of 09 that dry-rotted tires are not worth risking your life over...

June, 1984. I was an underage 14 yo kid with a DT200. I had a new tire installed in town while I was working at a local hardware store on Saturday. I picked up the bike at the end of the day and ripped it up main street. The one traffic light in town was green and so I leaned it over (while speeding) and learned my first lesson about scrubbing in a new tire. The bike went down and I skipped off the pavement right in front of Dairy Queen. My future girlfriend was working there at the time and she said everyone thought that I was dead. But I was full of adrenaline and picked up the DT, got it going, and immediately headed out of town. I didn't realize that I had broken most of my toes on my left foot until I went for second gear. But I had to get out of town. No license and I knew that it wouldn't end well if I got caught. So I reached down and shifted up using my left hand an no clutch. I rode the 10 miles home in shear agony, missing large chunks of skin from my legs, elbows and right shoulder. But the worst was yet to come, when my father figured out why I had gone straight up to my room and my bike was bent to hell.

I'm sure it wasn't at all funny at the time, but reading it I had a little chuckle as it's just what a 14 year old would do! Glad to know that you grew up "perfectly normal" after that.

Ah, yes. When I didn't have much (ok, any) money back in (2000 to 2002, those were hard years) I would buy my motorcycle tires from the junk yard. (ya, I know). I remember buying a used Carlisle brand front tire for $13 and for those that do not know about Carlisle, they stopped making motorcycle tires in the early 80's*!! So at the time it was close to 20 years old

My bike was Probably the only motorcycle in Canada that was using a Carlisle motorcycle tire! DOH.
* I found this out because I was doing some research on it via the Carlisle website and there were no motorcycle tires at all. So I emailed them and the guy that wrote back said he worked for Carlisle for 20+ years and didn't ever remember them making motorcycle tires while he was there! Pretty darn funny.

Interesting poll but the results will be flawed due to severe lack of sample size and the fact that this is an international site with different climate, traffic, etc. Furthermore the issue of the North/South hemisphere resulting in our summer being winter for people in countries like Oz, S. Africa, & Chile.

Plus, we don't know who had a good breakfast and who didn't!
Really, it's just for interest sake and to see if there any coincidences on the site.
Plus we might learn a thing or two from each others mistakes.
