Yeah, gave my Dad my Honda 360T.

He's the one who got me my first bike (minibike) and the one who's 72 BSA I rode the crap out of when I first got my licence. He's also the one who came and picked up the wreckage (me and the bike) at 3 am once, and only kicked my "O Ring" a little when we got home.

He's had a '67 305, a '73 350, a '76 750F and an '83 VT Ascot Honda...guess that makes him a "Honda guy".

Anyhow, it's been a few years since he's ridden and the other day he metioned the gas prices, wishes he had a cheap way to get to the airport, ect.

He also mentioned that he was thinking of spending around 1500 bucks on a used Whizzer, so I pulled the old 360T out of the mothballs and gave it to him.

Can't wait to go riding with him and my daughter!

Photos soon I hope....

Thanks, people. I'm just tryin' to keep the biker lineage going in the family. I figured it was a tiny fraction of a price to pay back all the things he's done for me.

I thought it would take him to long to get to the airport on a Whizzer and this was a lot cheaper too. (he had to buy a new battery).

Very nice of you. I gave my older brother my '78 KZ650 about 6 yrs ago. He had a '79 in rougher shape. He also did some electrical work for me on my house. Also influenced my music tastes.

I got the bike back (he was a nice guy to give it back) a few years later. Then it sat for a few years. I've got her running again, and am lovin it.

Nice one, Good bikes deserve to be treasured and it sounds like your Dad is just the man to treasure the 360.

Perfect bike to scoot around town on. And he probably feels more at home on that than he would some new fuel injected contraption.
