such a newbie!

Hey all.
Just purchased my first bike the other day. 1982 yamaha maxim 550. Got it home and already leaking oil so I'll undoubtedly be picking the brains of all the avid mechanics on this forum.
Although, I'm a huge DIY'er and I purchased my bike as much for the engine maintenance experience as I did for the riding...I just hope I don't get more than I bargained for!
