A Highball with hardbags and pipes down both sides instead of twins on the right...still think ape hangers are dorky!!

That's because you haven't had enough to drink yet. ;)

On another note... I'm not sure Victory should have put him in a puddin' bowl helmet, it really doesn't say "we care about rider safety" does it?

Come on now Mike...safety is how you sell a bike to your wife, or parents...a "COOL" image is how the Mfgs sell bikes to us...it's a heart thing, not a brain thing...how else do you make a 50+ obese man look cool?

I think it is a more realistic image than a 25yo model that works out for a living trying to sell me the bike...they are saying "this bike makes anyone look cool..." (I'm not saying the guy looks cool, but that is what the marketing dept is trying to sell us)

If you are trying to break into an established brands market (Harley), then you have to appeal to their customers...not all bikers are sensible and cool, like us!!

I kind of assume someone who's interested in a bagger at least intends to do some mileage on it (or am I being naive?).

So why make a bagger with apes? It's like making an adventure tourer with clip-ons.

The pic remains me of the old joke "What is the difference between a vacuum cleaner and a HD (and apparently Victory) motorbikes? Vacuum cleaners have the decency to hide the dirt bag riding it inside out of sight.
