Ouch

#1 Unread post by joolz »

Fecking Black Ice A morning in casualty, a knee the size of a football, a lovely coloured thigh and hip and a knackered bike
Don't know what state the bike's in going to get some pics tomorrow before the insurance move it from the recovery place

Sorry to hear you put the bike down, but glad you weren't hurt more seriously. Black ice is why I'm sometimes hesitant to ride this time of year, especially riding to work in very early morning. Hope things don't turn out too badly with your knee and the bike.

Sorry to hear you had a tumble & that both you & your bike have been injured :( . Hope it's just bruises & you recover soon.

I SORNed my bike at the end of November because this time last year the weather was so bad I didn't use it. I have been regretting it because it's been so mild here, but it just takes one little bit of ice...........

That's at least fixable. Glad you're ok. Hope the insurance companies don't yank you around too much. And at least you're not out a bike during fabulous summer riding.

One reason why im glad when winter hits, at least it snows. I'd be tempted if I only saw frost out there.

That's rough buddy. I hope you're doing much better by now though. Any progress on the insurance situation?
