I scuffed my bike when i fell off of it a few wks ago...
I have been looking around online and have found a few places where i can buy a new set fairings.
The other option some people have mentioned, is to take it to a body shop and have them buff out the scrapes and repaint it.
which would be the better option?

Well for myself I'd buff it out and repaint. That's what I'd do if I were to hang on to the bike. That way if you have another boo-boo your not tearing up new plastic. However if your going to sell the bike replace it for the resale value.

I've seen a lot of people do vinyl wraps. You can get them in a myriad of designs, put them on yourself, and it usually turns out pretty decently.

thanks for the advice, i am definitely keeping it. the vinyl wraps actually never came up, ill have to look into that. Hopefully there won't be any more boo boos but I think I will save buying new ones til Im a little more experienced...

Are you picking up frame sliders to reduce damage in the future?

Highly experienced riders have frame sliders on their bikes. Because shyt happens. And plastics are expensive.

And you're a new rider starting on a 600cc sportbike so your chances of a tip over are higher.
