Question regarding back seat - slipping

Hello Ladies, I'm asking this question on behalf of my wife. Normally, she rides her own but on Sunday she decided to backseat it on mine (Harley Super Glide with backrest). I put a new seat on it last summer which she has never been on. After a dozen miles or so of going up and down a few ridges and hills, she let me know in no uncertain terms on every curve and slope it felt like she was sliding off. She never felt like this on the older pillion seat, which was a little bit wider. While the seat is new, it feels like a typical leather seat to me. So apart from using Crazy Glue, I'm open to any reasonable suggestions.

Grippier pants? Synthetic fabrics can be slippery.

Or, for a totally off the wall idea, a bit of that bar mat/drawer liner stuff - the kind that's grippy and mesh. I use it to open jars, and I imagine it would help my butt grip the seat.

You can get a product for the boot of the car. No slip mat. it looks like mesh but is very soft. Cut to size and just lay it on the seat. works a treat.

Take off the backrest, coat the seat liberally with some Armor-All, then redline and drop the clutch. Viola! No more complaining!

Like Paul said, the non-slip stuff works well. You can usually find it in home stores as well, I've used it a lot for lining cupboards and such.

You could also look into a sheepskin cover for it. Less slip and more comfy.

She'd go for the sheepskin and tassel look...but a buddy of mine suggested using saddle soap on the seat, then trying a different type of leather dressing. I did use stuff from Wilsons Leather just because the Motor Company gets too much of my cash anyway. Will try something else and let you how how it works, Thanks for all the responses!

Update - put some saddle soap on the seat to treat the leather for about 15 min, then rinsed it off and let it dry. Bought some Kiwi Leather Lotion and use a sunny warm day to put a layer on while polished the rest of her. The leather sucked in it and I repeated the process. The seat doesn't feel slick to her anymore and looks fine.
