Ever leave your bike in a lot while you took a trip?

This video isn't 100% motorcycle related but (unfortunately) just compounds my limitless paranoia about leaving my bike in someone else's custody. It honestly makes me sick. If the guy just sort of took it around I wouldn't be as upset (still upset though) but the guy does burnouts? Takes it on dirt roads? Wow....

I had to leave my motorcycle behind for 8 months once, so I took it to a pawn shop (ok, so I worked for said pawn shop). Took out a $20 loan, left the bike as collateral, paid $5/month interest on that loan, and the key and title were locked in a safe. Can't beat $60 for 8 months of indoor storage. They were even nice enough to plug in the battery tender.
Ooooooh. Shiny!

I had to leave my bike for three months a few years ago, I rented storage space at a public storage. That worked out well.
