Hey you guys! Long time no see. I haven't been on here for ages and ran into a little issue and I remembered you guys are really friendly and helpful when it comes to advice. I been riding for a whole year now and I just shipped my bike from CA to DC this March when I decided to stay over the summer. My riding experience has been great, no accidents, only one close call, and never laid the bike down till...this week. I was riding by my college when a dog bolted across the street. I did an emergency stop but my rear tired skidded on some oil causing it to fishtail out of control and I laid her down. The engine seems to be running fine but the right handle bar bent in and the foot break is also bent.

I was wondering if anyone from the DC/DMV area can recommended and good shops that can change the handle bar and foot break. I am looking for a good price but quality work comes first. Any suggestions and THANKS!!

Oh btw i have a 2009 Yamaha FZ6R

Do you have any tools with you? Handle bars and brake levers are not hard to change out.

+1. Your most difficult part will be re-aligning the tabs on the bars while attempting to get the screw in.
