New guy, stuck in cornfield...

Hello, im Lee, i climbed onto my first bike at the age of 13. I'm 29 now, still have that same old bike, and a few others, and its time for them to get some R&R... so here i am!

well, theres two Yamaha's actually ... my first bike, my 1982 Yamaha "exciter" 250...
great little scoot around bike, but uncomfortable to drive ... so i began tearing into it a few weeks ago ...
going to build a new exhaust, relocate the battery, make it a single seat, delete out a bunch of stuff i dont like ( rear pegs, etc.) put on some wider spaced bars, lareger rear tire... been pondering a disc brake setup as well. Other than that, it's getting a refreshening/restoration of sorts.
My other bike is a 1981 Yamaha "eleven Special" 1100. Got a dead CDI box, been sitting dormant for about 5 years. Hope to dig it out and do some refeshening on that as well...
