The trip was pretty long. 2,500 miles altogether. The first day, I was on the road for 14 hours. Two of them were due to a run-in with a 2004 CBR 600RR. I was taking some backroads to my Grandpa's house from Des Moines, Iowa, and end up meeting up with this guy. By the end of it, I was a good two hours out of my way riding with him, but even after 12 hours on the bike, I still wanted to go have fun with him so I did. Now, people speak of SV butt, and I definitely had it. I ended up buying a pillow on my way back at a Walmart, because it hurt so bad. Besides that, the overall ergonomics of the bike were great on the trip. The naked SV really gives you quite a range of seating positions.
So here are some pics from the trip. A lot of them are blurry due to my camera's zoom breaking, causing the focus to get messed up as well.

This one was this gigantic storm rolling across the Oglala Soiux Reservation, just on the edge of the Badlands. As always, I had to chase it and get into the storm. Part of the reason I fell 50 miles short of Rapid City, which I had hoped to make it to, but the storm was well worth it.

Another one of the storm and rainbow.

This is the sunset, which is just a picture from the opposite side of the storm. One side was storm, one side was this.

Another sunset pic.

This was about where I camped at the Buffalo Grasslands, just on the edge of the Badlands.

A good view of the Badlands here.

This was a giant herd of buffalo. There were no fences or anything out here, at the campgrounds as well. This is about half of the visible herd there.

Well, sorry to all you 56k'ers for this post haha. Just thought I'd throw some pics of the sights I saw on the trip.
