soup up my 96 yamaha virago 1100...

Whats up? I have a 96 virago that I want to soup up. I also want it to be loud! "thinking about taking the baffles out." any suggestions?????

First off , Welcome to the group Prodigal . Removing the baffles is going to require rejetting the carbs . Same as if you installed a custom exhaust system .What I did with my Virago 1000 was cut out the disc at the end of the mufflers with a dremel tool . Then if it still isn't loud enough to suit you , you can take a long drill bit and drill a FEW and only a few more holes around the inner baffle itself.
One thing you really want to consider is to eliminate the AIS . Air Induction System .
