FYI: Putting up the new 2013 Harley-Davidon motorcycle models took A LOT longer this year than pervious years (I'm 85% done) as I encluded even more information and stats from USA, Canada, UK and Australia plus the BIGGEST photos you have EVER seen!

I noticed that they have discontinued the XR1200X.

That was the bike everybody said they wanted but nobody bought.

XR1200X: future collector's item. Hang on to yours, BobK.

It's not going anywhere (without me, that is).

Good eye. I noted that in the guide when I made it. I'm a little skeptical as Harley-Davidson does do a XR1200 racing series and they would have to (eventually) cancel the whole thing... Also Andrea likes the XR1200 too...

What I'm thinking (as I've seen it done before by different manufacturers) is they will miss that model launch because they are updating that model and is released a few months later... maybe the XR1200X will see such an update?

They should have offered the X in the Orange instead of having those two ridiculous color choices of primer black and flat wallboard white.

Yup, the orange version is my favorite one as well.

But I say, make a whole line of real Harley-Davidson "sport"sters; that's right put the SPORT back into sportster! Use some of that Buell technology (before it goes to waste) and create something really sporty.

I would like an updated version of the tuber Buells from the 1990s, but make it look more like a Sportster. Make it light, use a hot rodded sportster engine, top notch suspension, offer it in the orange, and I would buy.
