HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

It's a (partial) holiday here in the USA as well (not Thanksgiving but Columbus Day); but we are celebrating it as Thanksgiving/200th year anniversary of the war of 1812. ;)

Andrea's Homemade Pumpkin Pie minus the piece I had for lunch.

Ya know..I went away by myself for the Thanksgiving weekend....It was very nice to have some time to myself in the autumn sunshine.
Walking in Manning park, travelling uncrowded highways, stopping for fresh new crop apples in Keremeos, taking pictures....

I had some pumpkin pie the weekend after Thanksgiving.

A scene from Thanksgiving weekend......this is along Highway 5a between Princeton and Merritt. I would like to ride my motorcycle here next year.

It's that time again. It's Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. :canada:

We have a lot for which to be thankful living here. All except our pitiful prime minister and our provincial premier.

What ever you are thankful for....this is the weekend to reflect upon it.

A lot of people complain about a lot of petty things....(including myself)...but life is actually pretty good.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are currently eating turkey (if you can imagine a WHOLE smoked turkey) stuffin', broccoli and are having home made pumpkin pie for dessert as well. :)

Unfortunately, tomorrow isn't a day off here in the USA even for us Canucks, but a tleast we found a turkey to cook this year. :eat2:
