HAPPY HALLOWE'EN ALL!

:pirate:

I'm updating the look of the site right now (no it's not a Hallowe'en one but a change in look for the rest of the site) and am taking the rest of the day off (or try to) to start all the Hallowe'en stuff for the kids. :)

So, were you a Goo Girl or Boo Boy this year? :bag:

Pumpkin carving here I come...haha

Mike

P.s. Can someone find me a PUMPKIN and GHOST smilie? Amazingly enough, I don't have one!

We just got our first 3 kids to the door. 3 little ones, a ninja, a ballerina and a zombie.

I have the tiki torches going in the front, 8 little ghosts hanging from the roof, a couple RIP crosses and a shovel. :)

Photo to come.

Here is some of my culture

In Zulu mythology, Tikoloshe, Tokoloshe or Hili (from the Xhosa word utyreeci ukujamaal) is a dwarf-like water sprite. It is considered a mischievous and evil spirit that can become invisible by swallowing a pebble. Tokoloshes are called upon by malevolent people to cause trouble for others. At its least harmful a tokoloshe can be used to scare children, but its power extends to causing illness and even death upon the victim. The way to get rid of him is to call in the n’anga (witch doctor), who has the power to banish him from the area.

Well, we had a little over 50 kids to the door including the Houston police*.

*Yes, they came to see me, and there is a story there, and I'm the bad guy, although the story is not as good as you might think, want to hear it? :D

Bad boys, bad boys, what'cha gonna do...
