Going back in time...

#1 Unread post by ronboskz650sr »

This is a happy soapbox...not really issue related at all.

I wanted to share my return to bicycle riding after a 10 year hiatus. I've started slowly on my old "hybrid" bike...feels like I'm dragging a cinder block behind me. Today I switched tires, rewrapped with fresh, new bar tape, did some repaires/adjustments, got new socks, blah, blah blah. bottom line is, I'm excited about getting back into cycling, even though the first three outings were typically painful and discouraging. I'm already sleeping better, feeling more limber, and alert, and I'm sure it will just get better from here.

Just thought I'd share it, Hope some of you are doing this, too. I decided, the best improvement I could afford to make to my old bike would be to improve the power/weight ratio of the whole package.
Ride safe...God bless!
