Adirondack Rally II

Due to an overwhelmingly positive response to last year's event, We will be organizing a shindig for this spring as well! It seemed that everyone had a excellent time and was happy with the overall format last year, so we're not going to be changing hardly anything. The only real notable change is that we'll be sure to post up where the dinner meet up will be for both Friday and Saturday night - we felt bad that some people showed up Saturday evening last year and were unable to find anyone because we hadn't posted up the plans anywhere.

Also, a few people had discussed possibly extending the event into the week leading up (something like a Wed-Sun thing), and spending the first couple days in Northern VT before heading down to the Lake George region for Friday evening. Brumbear nor I will be involved in any of the planning for that as it's unlikely that either of us will be able to attend, but I will post any info on that here and on my website so that anyone who wishes to attend that portion can easily find that info.

Be sure to bookmark my webpage as I'll be keeping all of the pertinent info there: http://www.allseasonrider.com/adk-buell-rally.html

Most people, including myself, will be staying at the Fort William Henry. It's a little more expensive, but it's the easiest. http://www.fortwilliamhenry.com/

This was a great event last year and I hope to see a lot of those who came to make the trip again, as well some new faces. Here's the link to last years thread for anyone that's interested: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 666388.html?1357328980

This is some stuff to do if your with the family and not on your machine or the family is in need of something to do while you are!!!
The Rally is family friendly folks you will enjoy the area I can almost guaranty it we can't control the weather but it's usually fair this time of year up there. Nights are cool and bonfires are somewhat frowned upon in the local establishments.

Good news I called Frost Valley YMCA on the clarryville road he said the road is open all the way from 55 to 28 although the sign says it is closed, He did say the road was washed out in a couple spots but passable I am in for it worse comes to worse I'll build a bridge Seriously though he said the road is passable so we will get a little of the off road feel at the very least.
