New to site - Hello!

Evening all,

Just a quick message to say hello, and to start with an apology......I am currently bikeless!!!

Yes I feel a bit of a fraud posting a message on a motorcycle website, when I am without a bike.

But hopefully this will all change by the end of Feb, as I will get my mits on a V7 Stone.

I am a middle aged biker, back to it after several years (Marriage, house, Kids, Car racing, divorce getting in the way). I am proud to say I am from the UK, but hope that doesnt mean that people think I wear a bowler hat, and ride with an umberella.

Looking foward to getting good advice from here as it seems a very friendly place to chat.

Mgrt,

Welcome to TMW! You've come to the right place for friendly chat with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. Right now we're in the winter lull so it's been a bit slow lately, but that'll change as the weather starts to warm up.

We've got more than a few Brits on the board, so you'll fit right in. There's even a thread where the other limeys share pictures of their umbrellas... (-;

Our webmaster also rides a V7 Stone, I'm sure he'll be stoked to discuss the finer points of Italian motorcycles with you and once you've got your bike, he'll want to know if yours smells like pizza too. In the meantime, check out the Cool Wall thread and throw your votes around, and check out some of the other threads too. The Riding Game is a good thread to get a feel for where everyone lives and who rides what, and the member blogs are all a lot of fun.

Again, welcome to TMW!

Oh, I'm chuffed! (a British subtitute for "stoked")

:welcome:

Welcome to the TMW community, the friendlist motorcycle hangout out there. Where the food is always hot and delicious (if we served food), the drinks are always cold (again, if we offered drinks) and the conversation lively (which we do have!). :D

The V7 Stone is a AWESOME bike (notice the CAPS), I was out on it yesterday and let a friend ride it today (Mashby!) who visited from Canada for 1/2 the day and it's all grins. Feb is not that far away though. :revv:

And don't worry about posting without owning a bike, we all have done so within the last 13 years around here. Plus, you don't need a bike to have a love of riding!
3 Miles.
3 Miles.
Every time I look at these guages, I just want to ride.

Glad to help with any questions you might have.

Cheers Mate!

Mike

Hey buddy! Or is it hi Paul - or even better yet hey Shirley?!?!?! ;) Great to see my good friend finally come on board to TMW. :D I can't wait to see your new V7 photos... it's only a matter of time. And besides, it's snowing there now right so no need for a bike just yet! ;)

Welcome to the community - looking forward to chatting with you here and on the Lync at work... :)

Cheerio!

Welcome aboard.

It's icy and foggy here so no riding either.

February will be here before you know it. :D

Well thank you for the kind Welcomes....

Thanks to Jackofthegreen for introducing me to a new experience - Being called a Limey - New and pretty cool. I will be taking brolly shots just for you.

Mike - Love the picture of the clocks.....if you can just keep me ticking over with other tempting shots of the V7, then I might just make it through Feb without exploding.

Andrea - Who is this Paul person.... I have no idea who you are or what you are on about! ;-)

blues2cruise - Thanks for the welcome as well, I feel your pain with the weather....Roll on spring.
