A buddy of mine dropped off to me, an 83 gpz 750 to get running. There are a few parts that came in a cardboard box. Ugh! Anyway, the carbs have been totally cleaned out and are ready to go back on bike. My problem is, whoever originally took them off, cut every single line coming or going to the carbs. Plus they were cut very, very short. Now i am not exactly sure what line goes where and what ones hook to each other??? I have tried searching on line for pics or diagrams of where all the lines goto and have had no luck. When i say carb lines, I mean fuel, vent, etc.. If anyone can help me out, I would so greatly appreciate it!!! Thank you to all that have taken the time to read this. bear1088@comcast.net

Hello Lars, and welcome to the forum. There should be two sizes of hoses that can connect to your carbs, the smaller which there are four, are for vacuum lines. The larger lines which there are two should be fuel lines. Have you tried to find a manual for this bike? Good luck.

There are a handful of lines that come off of the front side or engine side of carb. There are also 3 or 4 lines that come off of the rear side of carb. If I remember correctly, the front lines are a smaller diameter than the rear ones.

The lines on the engine side are vacuum lines.

Ok, but do they all connect together and if so, do the connect to somewhere special?? See what I mean. I am a bit lost here.......

I know they don't connect together. Can you tell me what the petcock has written on it. If it says Prime-On-Res One goes to the small line there, one goes to a device on the head, and the other two are capped off. If it says Off-On-Res then they all should be capped off.
