I want to clean my air filter on my bike and it says in the service manual that I should blow compressed air to clean it. Does any one know of any good air compressors for cheap?

you can buy canned compressed air...they have it at the game store i go to...if that doesnt work...go to the "cheap" tool store and buy one of thiers...the one across the street has one for 79 bucks.

Do you have a garage or a shop where you keep tools? There's lots of things you can use a good compressor for.

Unless you plan on using an air compressor for other purposes, you'd probably be better off just getting a new air filter...

I was just thinking if you have the space you might not want the absolute cheapest model. You can use it for the air in your tires of course, but compressed air is also a great cleaner for lots of stuff, not just bikes. And of course you can run air tools with it, clean the shop, etc. I don't know, I just like having a compressor around. A good one doesn't cost much and it'll last forever if you maintain it properly.

They make portable ones with vertical tanks, also. These are pretty easy to fit in a small garage. If you have uses for one, it's hard to beat having one. Me, I bought one first, found uses for it, got in the trash business and sold the small one to make room for an 80 gallon two stage upright. Even it fits nicely in a nook next to my bench (I know, big nook). You can also paint with a few more items, and a good homemade temporary booth. DOn't use it on your air shocks, though, unless you have a very good adjustable reulator (I do, couldn't resist that gadget). I use mine to blow the garage floor clean, air up all kinds of tires, clean parts, paint, clean engines, run air/impact tools for wrenching/cutting/grinding/sanding/polishing (there must be an etc, but I just can't think of it right now). Get a welder, too, while you're at it.
