Bali 250

#1 Unread post by scooter12 »

I am new to this forum.. I recently bought a Honda Rebel 250 for my wife. She loves taking little rides. She has owned it for 1 year and only has a little over 100 miles on it. Me... I own a Roketa Bali 250. It has over 6300 miles on it. I love cruising at 65 to 70 mph and also taking windy highways. Recently my Bali 250 blew over in the last storm. It done major damage to the front end- broke windshield, both mirrors, the helmet sheet, rear and front dash board, the piece undernieth slid sideways. Done $550 in damage. I fixed it up myself....

Good for you, always nice to get a different perspective. If truth be known there are more scooter riders than there are bike riders around the world
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

.... and if my job was closer to home, I'd have a Honda PCX-150 for the commute, be enjoying the 100+ miles per gallon, and save the big bike for long trips. A friend just bought a brand new PCX-150, black, looks real sharp.

The Bali 250 gets 65 to 70 mpg.. A 3 gallon tank.. Scooters are fun because just twist the throttle and go. I do wish I could find a motorcycle I could ride. Can't ride a sportsbike due to problems from the stroke, but have riden a Chinese motorbike that had a clutch, hi low gears, and rear brake was on foot brake. Just have to keep searching..
