Registered scooter today

I woke up and slapped on my jean pants, a shirt, and steel toe boots.. Grabbed my leather jacket and helmet and felt tired still. So I drank a Coke and felt a little bit better. Went outside and uncovered my scooter. It is a 250cc scoot. Put everything on and took off. I started down 54 Expressway- it is 70 mph.. It was actually fun.. I don't ride 70 mph highways often, but I had to cross the Missouri River and it is the only way to get to Larry's Honda to have my scooter inspected. So anyhow, the wind was not blowing, the scooter handled good, and it passed inspection. I like riding 70 mph... Registering the scooter was harder. The License Bureau noticed an error on my tax form. That neither the Honda Rebel nor the Bali scooter was listed on the tax form. They should have been, but the county excessors office at the court house, forgot about them. So I rode home to park the scooter and went with my wife, to pay the taxes owed on both bikes. We drove 45 miles to do this and registered the scooter at the court house. The court house waived the $25 late fee, due to they made an error. Recall my scooter blew over in a thunderstorm and caused $550 in damage. That was what caused it not to be registered in time. It works out..lol
