Hello, I am working one a Suzuki G450L with a friend of mine and gas is going into the air filter. We have it running and everything else seems to be working fine. It is even running smoothly. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what might be going wrong. I would like to have an idea of what I can look at that might fix the problem. So if anyone has any ideas of where I can start I would appreciate it!

A stab in the dark... It might be that the float is sticking and not seating the needle properly... Just a guess.

My friend talked to the mechanic at my work and he said it could be the same thing. The only thing is I watched my friend take the carb apart, clean it and put it back together. Is there anything we should be looking for or are there any other possible problems that would cause it?
The air intake had just a little bit of gas, I'm not sure about oil but it could have had some. What should we do if it does?

If the needle's notched, It could cause the same result ..
Also if one of the main air passages are clogged, the gas could be drooling up out of the carb instead of spraying since it's not being aereated properly ..
