1988 yamaha radian back brake

the back brake has a little screw for the back brake it looks like it is out of place does it need to be a stop for the brake? If not what does it do? Can anyone send me any pics of what the back brake looks like?

Thank you for the diagram, but I already have that I am looking for an actual picture of the back wheel and back brake so I can see were that screw is doing

What screw are you talking about? Point it out in the diagram perhaps?

The screw is not shown in the back wheel assembly diagram if you can find me a diagram of the back brake assembly I will gladly point it out.

That diagram has everything that's supposed to be on your rear brake. Now I'm confused and curious.

It looks like a stop screw for the rear brake pedal. If you look at the rear pedal it is right below the bend I took pics they will follow

Ohhh well that makes sense. Yeah there is supposed to be a stop for the rear brake lever. You're supposed to adjust it so that it stops right before locking up the rear wheel as you're riding. Kinda like an early ABS system.

thanks is it suppose to be a nut that stops the pedal or the actual screw?
