#1 Unread post by kflint79 »

the back brake has a little screw for the back brake it looks like it is out of place does it need to be a stop for the brake? If not what does it do? Can anyone send me any pics of what the back brake looks like?

What screw are you talking about? Point it out in the diagram perhaps?

The screw is not shown in the back wheel assembly diagram if you can find me a diagram of the back brake assembly I will gladly point it out.

Can you take a picture of yours, and point out the screw?

That diagram has everything that's supposed to be on your rear brake. Now I'm confused and curious.

It looks like a stop screw for the rear brake pedal. If you look at the rear pedal it is right below the bend I took pics they will follow

Ohhh well that makes sense. Yeah there is supposed to be a stop for the rear brake lever. You're supposed to adjust it so that it stops right before locking up the rear wheel as you're riding. Kinda like an early ABS system.
