I have wanted to put drag pipes on my Road Star for some time. I want to get a set with removable baffles. I was thinking of removing the stock mufflers and running the bike like that for a few days to see how it sounds and if I can tolerate the noise. Does anyone think this would hurt the motor or know if there is a danger issue?

Is the motor carburetted or fuel injected ...
