1983 Suzuki GS850L Gas comes out of the top of the eng.

Hello all
I have a Suzuki Gs850L. When i start it gas and oil mix come out of the hose on top of the eng. What can make this happen? Dose this mean it has a blown head gasket, or is the carb. bad?
