Hi guys, I am new here. I am from lancashire, UK - I thought that I would also give you a quick history of my bikes:-

1. Honda XL125 (RED Varadero) - Had this for about 3 months...after the snow in Jan, I went out (snow had gone) and hit a patch of "black ice" dow a small-ish back-road - guess what happened, lol!!! So I am there (on the way to college) trying to get 150Kgs worth of bike up on the ice - no such luck!!! A Royal Mail van saw what was going on and tried to stop (down the same road I came) - his wheels locked and that was it - I couldn't look...just heard a crunch and looked round and saw my bike UNDER the van. To cut a long story short, the police, recovery people (to jack the van off my bike) and my annoyed mother( ) came over to sort everything out - it was classed as no fault (for me - royal mail said they would claim responsibility) and insurance paid out for a brand new bike for me...see No. 2

2. Honda xl125 (SILVER Varadero) - This is my current bike - love it a lot - got htis one as I know how it handles, I learned on it (from CBT) and I like it, so why not :D

I am now in the process of getting a Suzuki GS500 F - had the silver honda for 2 years now, so i am moving on!!! Getting it at the weekend (7 days left) - excited is not the word :D

Anyways, hope I didn't bore you too much and hope to speak to the rest of you soon

thank, yeah I was pretty happy about that, lol. It happened about 2 mins from my house too, which wasn;t so bad as I had to push my bike home - and with the thing stuck in 2nd and the clutch foot lever ripped off by the van, I had to push that big bike up a massive hill - took me just over 30mins to get back home, lol.

Really excited - 6 days to go to get my 500, lol.

Or at lease nice enough not to shoot you for being on the road.
Anyway welcome and I am sure there is a lesson in that story somewhere.
Exjoy the new bike!
