So yeah, i retired my helmet today, it served me well in the year i had used it...

Many of you remember when i lowsided last September you can see where i got some abrasion on the helmet from it (right underneath and in front of the left visor attachment , ( the other black touch ups were from chipped paint, no impact)



So i finally broke down and got a new one today, i still need to decide on what artwork i'm gonna put on it... i'm thinking a pirate flag of some sort.




So the end of an era has come about.. but the new helmet fits so nice... I was wary of the snell certification of it but i decided to go with it anyway.

for artwork, maybe you should stick with the theme already started and do the new one up as a TIE Pilot's helmet.

Hmmm, I'm not too big a fan of the Empire, them and their dirty, lamo dark side....

ive been thinking of doing something similar.

i used red vinyl decal stock, i scanned the insignia from an action figure box and i traced and cut it out, the shading is in black sharpie.
