I can't help but notice that there seems to be a lot of Canadians on these motorcycle boards. One of my other interests/passions is making tube guitar amplifiers. The amp boards seem to be crawling with Canadians as well.

We're everywhere, baby! BTW, it might interest you to know that this forum was started and is owned by... *gasp*... a Canadian!

Maybe my use of the word" crawling" made my statement sound somehow negitive or derogatory. That was in no way my intention.I have nothing but love and respect for my Canadian neighbors. I was simply pointing out our common interests.
You might be interested to know that many of the innovators, past and present in the field of vacuum tube electronics are also Canadians.
I've spent a lot of time in Canada over the years, from the Yukon to Nova Scotia and never had anything but positive experiences(excluding that one incident at the Yukon/Alaska border many years ago)I lived right on the Alaska/B.C. boarder for over 10 years , and I've never lived more than a 2 hour drive from Canada for my whole adult life.
Anyway,my apologies if I sounded like a jerk.(maybe I need to start using those little smiley things)

It's true - you can't swing a dead cat in here without hitting a Canadian. Anyway, I love the place and I get up to Vancouver or Victoria every year. Vancouver is about the coolest city I've been to and I've been to a few of them. If any of you are still reading this thread I have a couple of questions...

When you hear someone referred to as a Canuck, is that specific as to region or anything? Does anyone feel its derogatory in any way?

I'm coming to Vancouver for a long weekend the last weekend in September. Is there any cool bike shows or any motorcycle exhibits I should check out?

I've got a cattle prod that might work. Wanna try it?
