New Bike. R6 or R1?
I've had my license for 5 years and have been riding a bike since I was seven. My first street bike was a 2002 CBR600 and then to a 2009 R6. I currently have a DRZ 400sm and wanting to switch back to a sport bike. I want an R1, and I know its way more than anyone needs on the road. So should I just go back to the R6? Just trying to make a decision.
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you can wait a little it's looking like Yamaha is coming out with a triple to compete with the 675. That said, check out the FZ-09 as well if you're up for a standard. Lighter, narrower, and more powerful than the FZ-8

If you can handle it, the big bang motor R1 is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm going to take the R1. I road a 2007, I can only imagine a 2013 will be really nice.

Keep in mind they did switch the motor to the big bang in 08, so it's a completely different beast than the 07.Piro wrote:Thanks for the input guys! I'm going to take the R1. I road a 2007, I can only imagine a 2013 will be really nice.
