Well, that may be an exaggeration, but recent events suggest there's a ray of hope and that the pendulum of justice in CA may have taken a miniscule bump back toward center.
Scott Peterson is now on death row for the brutal murder of his wife and child. The sentence may not be carried out in my lifetime, but at least the jury's common-sense verdict and recommendation has not been totally ignored, just yet anyway.

It's too bad they will keep him segregated, as his introduction to the general prison population would expedite the completion of his sentence greatly. With any luck, a member of his own little exercise group will try for a few minutes of fame.

I heard correct me if Im wrong but the peterson family arnt going to appeal so it will speed up his execution.Im sure he will spend the rest of his days being targeted even if he is segregated it would be quite a high prison status to say "I killed Scott Peterson".And dont think the guards would be doing much to protect him.
