I weigh about 330 lbs, wondering if a 900cc would be big enough for me?

hell ya I weigh almost 300 and I rode a triumph speedmaster 865cc for a couple seasons worked fine, my quad was a 200 it's all in the gearing and motor type as portly fella I stay away from small displacement I4 as a general rule the rest is fair game

Like Dave says, it's all in the motor configuration and gearing.
I'll add to that though -- if you plan to stay with a cruiser type bike, I'd recommend maybe a little more than 900cc. I weigh 215 and ride an 800cc cruiser, and even 'up' geared for freeway riding it's a challenge to get better than 90mph. That also means there isn't much oomph left for passing once you're in that 65-75mph range.
By comparison I used to ride an '84 Magna 1100 V4, and that beast would scream all the way to 120mph without a hiccup. And I weighed about 20 pounds more back then. That was a muscle bike though, rather than a cruiser.
So, a 900cc certainly isn't going to leave you stranded or give out on you in the middle of a ride, but for all day comfort and highway confidence I'd consider a liter+ bike. It looks like you're riding a Shadow now, have you considered the Shadow 1100?
